Matt Ellison has spent his career working hands-on with networking stacks, technologies, and innovations. Before the advent of DPDK and VPP, he spent time building userspace accelerated networking tools for companies, helping to augment their Ixia-based test environments.

As Kubernetes became the defacto standard for cloud native compute, Matt went on to co-found Arroyo Networks, a network security startup solving the issues of bringing network security to the masses through cloud-native technologies.
